After I managed to sort out the initial problem of the compatibility of a UK 3 pin power supply here on Mainland Europe(literaly square pegs & round holes) I got down & got busy

WHAT HAS COME AS A REVELATION

I always considered my Darkroom practise to be OK

Coulda been stricter, but that's not me

I can understand that a neg strip that I'd worked with a lot could be slightly 'tired'

But there are negs that I've never taken out of the sleeves apart from putting them into better sleeves that are showing TERRIBLE signs of wear age etc

To take the 2 extremes

The After Bellocq series;

There are 3 shoots, but they are all quite old

2 on print film & 1 on slide

THe slides may well have gotten damaged when I was working with an AIRRUSH/aerograph back in the 80's

but the negs have almost never seen the light of day
